Firefox help

Ok, yesterday i installed AIM 6, it changed the firefox theme back to default and now the theme wont change. It also made aim.zones or something like that the home page and whenever i change it, it goes back to aim.zones.

I have uninstalled and deleted all AIM things but it's still like that

 

Anyone know how to help?

Should i uninstall FF and reinstall? i dont want to lose all my saved passwords

Just uninstall and NEVER save your passwords to firefox

 

That has to be the dumbest thing ever, if someone hacks your computer, your overwith haha.

Just reinstall and write your passwords down on a real life notepad or something.

Or you could always just remember it

when u downloaded u forgot to unclick the checked boxs so when you downloaded it screwed with everything..... i dont really know how to fix but i think the best be is to reinstall fire fox try clicking view tab at top and see if you can see anything

Travel here:

 

C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<N######>.default\

 

If you use Vista, try here:

 

C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<N######>.default\

 

 

Copy signons#.txt and key3.db to your desktop. (# just means which firefox version)

Uninstall and reinstall firefox, move those 2 files back.

had to reinstall AIM, **** with the setting, then un/re-install FF again

Couldn't you have gone into FF's settings and changed the home page like that?

Yea you have to be carefull when adding new programs

to always de select the "make homepage" thingy

I wanna make a little virus that changes your home page to IBM and bind it with some programs lol.
