T3A guy Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 I have a few questions about how maps are loaded on the 360 1) The maps go from the disc to the ram if they are signed, correct? 2) The 360 only does one check of the maps then it allows them to be played for the rest of the game, correct? 3) What is keeping us from editing the RAM while it is playing the maps? Thanks for all the help.
TheEazyB Posted April 20, 2009 Report Posted April 20, 2009 how do you expect to edit the RAM? Also it too is protected.
unknown v2 Posted April 20, 2009 Report Posted April 20, 2009 The maps are cached to the 360's HDD. Good luck trying to edit the cache in real time. The cache is also hashed, so yea, have fun with that.
