T3A guy Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 If you try to search words such as "VIP", "AIO", "FUD", "dog", "cat" and "mod" you will not be able to get any results because the search says that all words must be at least four letters long. Could an admin please change that to a lower number like two or three. Thanks.
iKhaosmaster Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 I don't believe you could change this. This we require some serious file editing.
Quinn Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 I don't believe you could change this. This we require some serious file editing. That sucks, I hate that limit =/ One Example is "Xplorer 360", you can't search it because of the "360"
SotG Caboose Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 That sucks, I hate that limit =/ One Example is "Xplorer 360", you can't search it because of the "360"But you can search for "Xplorer"
Quinn Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 But you can search for "Xplorer" Not the same...
Curtis Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 Yeah i see what you mean, i've had trouble with it in the past. I don't think its an ACP thing you can edit however. We'll see what peeeechez says.
Dark Slipstream Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 It'd be somewhere in the IPB files. Never heard of such a question like this before, try to open a question / discussion about it on IPB's main site.
iBotPeaches Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 Its not a problem with IPB. You try searching a mySQL database with a query of less than 4 characters. Thats like trying to backup a 80mb database. It will crash and you will get mySQL errors. Its the limit build by my server. Not until we get a real dedicated server or something.
yungbol Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 Just use google to do it. Type like so: yungbol's AIO site:www.ibotmodz.net
iBotPeaches Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 Thats why I added the google search at top
