.MeLo♥ Posted April 20, 2009 Report Posted April 20, 2009 Something, somewhere, went terribly wrong that just doesnt sound right, sounds like it should be Something, somewhere, things went terribly wrong
Decatur Posted April 20, 2009 Report Posted April 20, 2009 Something, somewhere, went terribly wrong that just doesnt sound right, sounds like it should be Something, somewhere, things went terribly wrongthat's not right cause 'somewhere' is describing where something went wrong, so, since it is only describing and not a necessity to the statement, it can be removed and make sense. Something, somewhere, went terribly wrong Something went terribly wrong Something, somewhere, things went terribly wrongSomething, things went terribly wrong sorry, just thought i'd point that out. don't get mad at me.

yungbol Posted April 21, 2009 Report Posted April 21, 2009 Why is everyone so new to AIM? AIM is the best. I don't know why everyone don't use it, all my friends use it because most people had AOL and that is how we communicated back in the day. In my opinion it is the best client.

mangriff32 Posted November 29, 2010 Report Posted November 29, 2010 Yea your right, but when its with the somewhere, it just doesnt make sense How about, Somewhere, Something went wrong. Not true, Something, somewhere, went terribly wrong.Somewhere could be considered a appositive describing where the something was, and thus it is unecessary, but completely correct.Remove it and you get "Something went wrong" which is a simple, complete sentence.Adding the somewhere is just adding a appositive describing where the something was
