ImaGonnaGetYou Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 If anyone has them, I'm looking for a few .3ds models for something I'm working on. I need: Halo 2 Models: Any and all Flood ModelsBrute(s)Elites (Honor Guards also)MarinesWraithGruntsJackalsDronesPelican Halo 3 Models (if they are available yet): Any and all Flood ModelsElitesMarinesGhostMarines If you have or can find any of these models in .3ds format or a format accepted by 3DS Max 9, it'd be much appreciated. Oh, and thanks T3A_guy for indirectly helping me acquire 3DS Max 9. Lol.
robert_hehn Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 Just extract the models from the .map files. Use engineer for Halo 3 and I'm not sure about Halo 2 because I have not messed with that for a while.
iBotPeaches Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 On vacation sorry bud, but I have a folder of tons of H2 Models (all different formats, including 3DS)Hopefully someone will help you before me, since I get home in 7 days. (long time to wait)
Dark Slipstream Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 Some H3 models are in VIP, and that's where they'll stay.
Random1225 Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 For Halo 2 models I would say google and extracting them from the .maps are your best bet. Halo 3 on the other hand is mostly private, but I believe there are a few public models.
Happy Buddah Posted March 13, 2009 Report Posted March 13, 2009 You could always check the milkshake.
ImaGonnaGetYou Posted March 14, 2009 Author Report Posted March 14, 2009 Some H3 models are in VIP, and that's where they'll stay. Thanks for contributing to my project and this thread. [/sarcasm] Peaches, that'd help alot if you can send me your models when you get back.

lostmodz26 Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 If your making models for Halo 2 then I would just use Milkshape 3D because its very user friendly. Still, here's a link or some 3DS models: http://www.digitaldreamdesigns.com/3DModels.htm
