COD 5 Golden Clan Tag

So i see them all the time and i was wondering..

In COD4 before they patched it, you could mod your clan tag, So since they made it so your clan tag can change to gold and what not, can you mod it to gold?

I dont play COD much but i would say no as the only save you have on your xbox is the campian and no multiplayer

You have to mod your profile -__- its possible to do it you just need a profile rehasher.

Theres realy no way to mod it, the only way to get it is to get the version of the game disk that gives you the gold letters. Edited March 13, 2009 by SotG Caboose♥

I'm pretty sure that the these color 'mods' you are thinking of in COD4 were from the PS3, and if that was/is the case they weren't 'mods'.

Actually on 5 you can get gold if you enter the code that comes with collectors edition. You might be able to mod it onto your profile.

Probably, if someone has a profile with it enabled, I'll be able to find it quickly... Post it and null some stuff out to make it not work so we can't steal it.

No its not the hashing its somthing else, you need a profile thats under 1mb.

The gold names are from the collectors edition and it is the only legit way to get it.

Get hold of someone who has a golden clan tag and get someone that doesn't and compare the differences.

Yea, we can't just do that... I know where the difference would be located, but too much too compare in files 5+ MB.

So much noob confusion in this thread. The ONLY way to get this golden clan tag was to get the collectors edition of the game. You can't just get a profile with the clan tag and then do some dumb modding s***, because the clan tag is on the disk not the profile.
