Whew...Were Back.

I honestly have no clue what happened. It couldn't be anything I did. I start had started a download of all the attachments from remote to my local computer. There was no messing with IPB files, just download so I don't know how a mySQL threw. I think it had something to do with someone clearing chat logs as I was tweaking them.

It was an easy fix, but my internet mysteriously went out, so it went from like 8:pm to 11pm unfixed. Not to mention my recent backup was 2 hours old (better than a month) so were missing any member, post, topic from 8:pm-11pm. Whatever blocked my internet was my connections fault since when I changed IP's it followed. All is back to normal now, and IPB 3 is on my LOCAL computer only. Which is working great.

Sorry for the troubles.

Edit: 20 minutes later I feel like typing.

What I did for those smart guys out there....

A simple FTP transfer of my ibotmodz server was working to download all 1.86gb of attachments to my computer. That took about 30 minutes. Then I re-uploaded those to my other ibotfiles server (took about 1 hour) with a test installment of IPB 3 (so I could convert a test copy). I needed a copy of the mySQL so I took the board offline and got it. However, when the board goes offline the staff can continue to work. What I think happened is I was converting from the mySQL tables when an admin wanted to clear the cbox logs. So hit that, lost its place in the tables and crashed. Then my internet went out. It said "100 MB Disruption" I don't know what that means, but it lasted for about 2 hours till it sorted itself back out. I then tried to just take that uploaded backup to restore the site back to where it was, however that backup was corrupted since someone was clearing logs as I was working. I then took a backup from 3:20pm today. Which is about 4 hours maybe 5. So we lost about 80 posts and 4 members. (Not that bad)

What I've learned is, when the board is offline it is offline for staff too.
