If I have a keylogger on my Windows XP pro SP3 OS, can it keylog me on my Ubuntu 8.10?

I'm like 80% sure it won't, I just want some other input.

I'm also 80% sure I don't have one, I was just wondering.

I don't think so, cause when you run Ubuntu, it doesn't start windows processes, and most windows apps don't load on Unbuntu, so how could a keylogger run. I think your fine.

yeah that's what I was thinking, unless I pissed off DSS then I think I'm good.

I missed ubuntu, it's pretty shweet, I haven't used it in 6 months.

No it doesn't.

Linux, Ubuntu, etc. runs it's own Shell. Basically in an isolated section on your Hard Drive (temporarily), until you Logoff (and it is then removed from the HDD).

This way it never uses space, unless you allow access to your system drives, in which case you could access anything lol.
