I know this is like a year old but I never knew you could mod it

fairly sure "Feb 6 2009, 03:45 AM" doesnt count as a year old. but anyways, i wrote a tut on how to do it, and i dont know what you expect but theres no "easy way" to mod it. there arent going to be shortcuts. so you just have to follow my tutorial and work out what i mean. its simple enough once you get it. just try it out. if you dont understand something, feel free to pm me.

âNo one can make you feel inferior without your consent.â

This quote from Eleanor Roosevelt is particularly helpful to consider as many of us find ourselves posting our resumes yet again becauseâdespite the pervasive impact of todayâs âretractingâ economyâit can be easy to think itâs somehow your fault that youâve re-entered the job market: to beat yourself up thinking, âIf only I had done X,â or âIf only I hadnât said Y.â

The trouble with this is that this sense of personal failure has the potential to influence the way you begin to think about your former situation, making it still more difficult to talk about how and why you were let go. With this in mind, then, letâs look at some language you can use to ensure you end up on offense instead of defense.

The Foul Weather Friend Response

Youâve all heard the term, âfair weather friend,â to describe the person whoâs always around when the sun is shining and the seas are calm. Unfortunately, foul weather friends also existâpeople who miraculously show up in your life the day your divorce papers are delivered, when you find yourself in the emergency room, or during the planning of your parentâs funeral, but are somehow never free to come to your holiday party,

your childâs graduation, or your anniversary celebration. These psychic vampires generally open with, âWhat happened?â not âWhat can I do?â as their ultimate goal is not your well being, but instead detail-collecting in an effort to make themselves feel better about whatâs going on in their lives, and the boost of self-importance they get from being âthere for you.â You will also find they have time to spread your story far and wide.

wow gold

For this particular category I recommend keeping your explanation short and sweet. âWell, we got divorced.â Or, âWell, I got laid off.â Thatâs it. Further detail is unnecessary. Should they follow up with an, âOh, Iâm so sorry. Did you see it coming?â all you need to say is, âThank you. Yes. (Or no) I appreciate your concern.â They are not entitled to more.

The Potential Employer Response

Obviously things become somewhat more complex when a potential employer asks about the reason behind your changed status. wow power leveling That said, I continue to recommend keeping the particulars of your situation to a minimum, and instead making a broader statement about the state of your industry, âYes, a number of people in my area were also let go due to downsizing.

As you know, my sector was hard-hit due to X, Y, Zâ Or, âYes, an inability to raise our third round of funding necessitated some cuts all around. As you know, venture capital is thin on the ground in this economy.â should suffice. Then use that as a springboard for talking about what you learned from the experience, and how you plan to apply that knowledge to your new position. âWhat Iâve discovered is that tackling challenges outside my comfort zone actually inspires meâI like a sharp learning curve. This is one of the primary reasons I came in to talk to you. I very much admire the diversified, hands-on approach you ask of your employees.â Or, âWhat I learned is the value of a good fundraiser, so thatâs where Iâve put my energy in the intervening monthsâvery few people look bored when you mention you know how to raise money. With regard to how I might raise money for you, I was thinking of X, Y, Z.â
