Quinn Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 I was writing this in the C-Box last night, but I am going to be purchasing a laptop before next school year (September). I would like some help on finding one. What I am looking for is a laptop for Gaming, Word Processing, videos and some Photoshopping ( I am actually maybe going to try to make my own sigs). My budget is around $750 - $800 Canadian. It must be from a reputable seller/store and new in box.
Dataanti Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 I just got a new laptop from future shop and its an Acer Aspire 8930 and it is amazing good for gaming, full HD, duel core, blu ray movie playing BEAST and it we like $1200 but its little brother Acer Aspire 5920 (it comes in black) is almost the same as the 8930 exept for a little less of everything, and is in your price range. If you dont like it then look for something that has a graphics card with DEDICATED MEMORY (super good for games) and a full HD plasma screen, it will let u play games really good in good definition and it will let u make ur sigs and it will let you do all th word stuff you want. Im sure you can get it at future shop or best buy
Dataanti Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 make your own??? it is extremely hard to make ur own laptop

Well it's a tie between these 3http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList....;name=iBUYPOWER
Quinn Posted January 30, 2009 Author Report Posted January 30, 2009 (edited) http://www.alienware.com/products/M17-note...ode=SKU-DEFAULT That one is more of a dream for me, its about $1400 US, or $1703.32 Canadian (EDIT: That is the Base Price!!!). Unfortunately thats over double my budget. Please remember guys, any US price has to be converted into Canadian. This was about the first one ever recommended to me in the C-Box: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16834152073 If I work extremely hard I guess I could afford it.
