Decatur Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 To log into your router? Try http://www.routerlogin.net
Dark Slipstream Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 All routers use different IP addresses, try some of the following: 192.168.0.0192.168.0.1192.168.0.2192.168.0.3 192.168.1.0192.168.1.1192.168.1.2192.168.1.3 192.168.2.0192.168.2.1192.168.2.2192.168.2.3 192.168.3.0192.168.3.1192.168.3.2192.168.3.3 If none of these work, you might have a very different router. In which google is your friend after me.
Snowmon333♥ Posted January 12, 2009 Author Report Posted January 12, 2009 Also, I can get on internet on computer which is connected to modem and wireless router, but can't get on live, and laptops can't connect either
Decatur Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 log into your router using routerlogin.net, and check the 'wireless settings' and make sure the MAC adresses of your laptop and 360 are unblocked, or look for something along the lines of 'open broadcast' so any wireless device can connect.
zZDarkLegacyZz Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 To log into your router? Try http://www.routerlogin.net OMFG!!!!!!! THANK YOU, I WANT YOU TO HAVE MY BABIES!!! Snowmon333♥ Posted January 12, 2009 Author Report Posted January 12, 2009 just to let you know I have a lynksis, and isn't mac address only used if it is directly connected
Decatur Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 just to let you know I have a lynksis, and isn't mac address only used if it is directly connectedWell you can make a list of 'allowed' or 'not allowed' in netgears, and it's by MAC addresses.
iBotPeaches Posted January 12, 2009 Report Posted January 12, 2009 If you set a linksys router to some mode it will take the IP (192.168.235.1)
Snowmon333♥ Posted January 12, 2009 Author Report Posted January 12, 2009 one more thing is trend micro (a anti virus) has a list of unallowed mac adresses and ips, it added a bunch randomly, which I've never seen before they all have the same mac address 00:14:F1....and they have all different IPs . 24.118...98.71.74.idk if that stuff matters, peach that didn't work, and none of DS's did either
Snowmon333♥ Posted January 14, 2009 Author Report Posted January 14, 2009 even with trend off I can't connect to 192.168.1.1 AND I can't setup the router, in the setup wizard it says cannot connect to router, try resetting it to factory settings. If I reset nothing happens

If I reset nothing happensDo a better job of resetting then. I had to hold my reset button for 10 seconds, unplug it.Hold for 30 seconds while it's unpluggedplug in, hold for 15 seconds while it's power cycling
