i did no such thing

a while back i traded my hard drive to my friend for a 360 controller so i unlocked my hard drive in unleashX and gave it to him and then i put the original hard drive in but in didn't work it booted 3 times then gave me the red and green flashing lights. I have a soft modded xbox and i dont have a eeprom backup it was on my memory card and it got erased some how. i am thinking to follow this http://www.llamma.com/xbox/Repairs/Reading_Xbox_Hdd_key.htm and put a friends xbox eeprom in mine but i dont know if our xbox versions have to be the same or if my eeprom is blank. PLEASE HELP!!
