Thats not true. Take a good video editor and tell him to make a movie with movie maker, and then using the same footage, make a movie with Sony Vegas. There is a difference with the stuff you can do. I use Sony Vegas in combination with Adobe After Effects. I use after effects more for special effects than anything else.
