Games for Windows LIVE? It does suck if your playing pirated, but thats to be expected.

No you are not able to. You would have to flash the xbox, then burn the ISO to a Dual Layer DVD (even though it will fit on a single, it has to be on a dual layer to read). There are a few guides out there.
  4. Your choice. Just make sure that it has adequate airflow and you'll be fine.
  5. mmmhmm. I know Randomrocket, you have already made a tutorial, but if I were to make one, it would be far more in depth. Dan, I haven't seen yours?
  6. Is anyone interested in a tutorial on how to put together a custom PC? Just wanted to know before I put in a few hours to do it, not much point unless someones interested.

  8. I'm not sure, they usually go for quite a lot, if/when they are sold
  9. AMD is good, but ultimately will not live up to an i7. Usually for gaming, you won't notice a huge difference between AMD and Intel. The Antec LanBoy looks nice, but it seems rather small (could just be the pictures). The 1200 is aging, but is still a good case. The Antec Dark Fleet 85 is essentially a refreshed 1200 with some extra features (My current case). Again, I cannot speak for the NZXT case, as I have no personal experience with the company in general (Speak with Peaches, I believe he has a case made by NZXT). Also, it doesn't look (at a glance) like it has as many fans as the other cases.
  10. I'm scared about the DLC downloader. Should MS catch whiff of this, you may get some trouble.
  11. *and Canada A lot of people just don't know what they've got, and how much its worth.
  12. Believe me when I say 1000w isn't excessive these days. I've maxed out my 1000w, and in the process blew a power bar. Okay, maybe it took some provoking. 480s take up ~450w in furmark stock, when overclocked, that number rises. And with the other components, it was enough. Left me wishing that I had bought an Antec 1200w
  13. I feel bad for you guys over the pond, you seem to always get shafted when it comes to 360 in general
  14. lol I saw a RROD Jtagable on Kijiji for $30 the other day. Came with a hard drive and everything too.
  15. Sounds like a plan. ASRock <3 /Thread?
  16. For like, 15 grand you can
  17. At least your honest Vouch
  18. 150 for jtagable? Which has the E74 error?
  19. The Rampage 3 Extreme is good, but my problem with it is that it only has one PCI slot. Which is a problem for me, cause I have a wireless card and my VIA sata controller (for flashing 360s), which are both PCI. But thats just my bias, so it might be a great choice for Smokes. +1
  20. DON'T MAKE FUN OF ME!!!! ...
  21. Original build looks okay, although you really don't need the 1200w atm. Also, I'm not a huge fan of the 900 (take a look at the HAF X series). Now on to your upgrades: Lets Start with the 4 way SLI. They also mention how the system is bottlenecked by the CPU (The same 980x you plan to upgrade to). (http://www.guru3d.co...ay-sli-review/9) (http://www.engadget....of-diminishing/) --- 24GB of RAM is rather useless unless you are dealing with a massive amount of programs, rendering huge videos or working with pictures with massive resolutions. --- Lots of 2TBs. Get watercooling, the high performance ones run hot hot hot (I love lots of storage too ) --- 980x. I wish I had one. --- Water Cooling. This will set you back as much if not more than those 480s (if you still chose to get them). You will probably need a couple of these to effectively cool all that hardware. --- Hope that helped some, ask away if you have questions Edit: also, I forgot to mention, to do the Quad SLI with the 480s, you would need at least one 1500w PSU. And thats streching it, some hw sites used two seperate PSUs for their setup.
  22. Linux supports a lot of hardware. And yes, ubuntu will fit on a CD. But personally, if I were to make a linux rescue CD, I would be using Knoppix. I dislike Ubuntu tbh.
  23. Format it, then install windows via dvd.
