Wow, what a post and sum up of my whole "internet childhood" was like. I remember trying to hardmod my xbox1 and completely failing at soldering being like 12 years old. Getting it right being a noob h2 modder. H3 comes out and for some reason I strived to actually be known in this era. I learned some c# for a few months and started developing half ass applications but somehow some of them were pretty good. I would just give pointers around and I remember being flamed for trying to get my h3 maps resigned when I first started to hex edit. Then it all changed when I released Darktrap (H3 usermap) before the resigner was released and became known and then started releasing more. Started programming and trying to help out. Then everything got so difficult and too secure and taking 1k to buy a dev kit etc. I just sort of lost interest in it due to the expenses. But man I wish I could go back. I really do...

Shew, this site was great I remember when I first joined, being flamed and called a noob etc. This site really developed me, I started to code, became a mod everything was going good. Then soon as the CON modding faded, so did all my true desire in modding. Halo 2 map modding was the best, con modding was cool, now what. You either need a dev or jtag to do anything good anymore. I just miss the old days.
