Hi guys, thanks for taking notice of my post - I have actually managed to solve the situation! I used a very handy program called Xplorer360 and I would recommend anyone with error codes like 13, 16 and 21 to use this program to fix your Xbox1 back to normal! I did have to buy torx screwdrivers but they were well worth it (and I learned a thing or two about PC hardware). Cheers!

Hi, I'm in a similar situation, however I still have my hard drive contents intact (including Splinter Cell save game). I did have a soft-mod. Unfortunately, my xboxdash.xbe got renamed and then I went from receiving Error Code 13 to Error Code 16 after leaving the XBox unplugged. I can't boot any discs. Any help appreciated - such a simple mistake has cost me an Xbox and given me a brick
