  1. I managed to remove ODST from the UK JAY Gamerprofile, but it wont shift from Mygamercard...
  2. - if it works, tell me...
  3. Yeah sure, but I have known about this method since June 25th - http://www.xboxic.com/news/5452 I wrote it in the article in not so many words on June 25th publicly...which was long before anyone ever posted a tutorial on a modding site. How it was possible: Because modding, hacking and manipulating your gamerprofile via any means is a violation of the rules of playing on Xbox360 - we shall not reveal the exact means, but can tell you that in order to add games to your profile, a hex editing method was used to manually add the game to the profile coding. In order to do so, as each game on the console is recognised by a series of numbers the Halo3: ODST game number was found through Xbox.com on the send link details for video files. Each Marketplace Item has the game reference number at the end of the link. By finding the played games area in hex, the coding for Halo3: ODST was added and then the profile was loaded onto the Xbox360 Console. In short this has tricked the console into thinking you own the game and then it exposed the available achievements listed for the game. Because the listed achievements here were directly obtained from the Live server using an Xbox360 it confirms that they are indeed the real deal!
  4. http://www.mygamercard.net/leaderboard.php?gt=&g=830&z=&c=&x=28&y=7 All the ODST game adders!!
  5. I'm not a member of Blue Shadows...the message for adding a game to your gamerprofile is pretty much commonly known in lots of places. My message is a shortened down version of how Mattyovers described his method of obtaining the ODST achievements weeks ago...
  6. This is the Recon Values taken from a Profile with Recon Unlocked, going from the 1st actual 63 E8 3F FF line above the armour colour code area right down to 3 values past the 01 01 01 easily visible in hex - but it doesn't work on another profile, not like the Hayabusa & E.o.D armor does - there's something else, somewhere in the profile - Notice the changes compared to Hayabusa & EoD I posted days ago with that in Bold To be fair, I think as well as the code changes below, it also must write data into the very very first unreadable part of the gamerprofile to allow it to be unlocked... by the time we work it out probably ODST would have been released anyway LOL 63 E8 3F FF 7A 0D F9 A0 06 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 30 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 0F 00 00 00 00 00 00 02 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 03 02 02 0A 00 02 02 02 02 02 02 06 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 09 0A 0A 0A 08 08 08 08 08 08 08 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 49 BD A1 4C 00 00 00 00 4A 2E DB 52 00 00 0F FF 00 07 07 03 03 03 07 07 03 03 01 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 FF 00 00 00 1E 00 7F 00 00 00 00 FF FF FF FF FF FF 00 00 00 00 FF FF FF FF 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 03 00 00 00 03 00 00 00 03 00 00 00 00 40 03 01 03 03 03 00 00 00 4A 00 38 00 30 00 00 00 4A 00 38 00 30 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 03 03 03 03 04 04 04 04 00 80 02 00 00 00 00 05 00 80 02 00 00 00 00 05 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 01 01 00 00 00
  7. I added ODST and it didn't unlock Recon at all...online or offline despite Recon being achievement related...so perhaps a title update to Halo3 needs to roll out to allow that to happen? Adding a game is pretty simple... Login to Live on your dashboard, then pull out your ethernet or wireless usb so that the profile stays on screen and you are now offline. Then put in any game, but you will need to know its .gpd number. Play the game for a few seconds, log out of your profile... Then open profile in Hex, find the game you've just played .gpd number in the profile - the right place to edit is where the game title will be present and close to where it should say dashboard either a few lines above or below it. Now hex it to the game you want to add, by changing the .gpd number to the game you want to add. Rehash/resign then log into xbox live...wait for about 30 seconds and game has been added. If MS haven't made the achievements live then you wont see it - just the games icon instead.
  8. Yeah it'll be good to see what values are changed on a recon profile in that area, also for Recon theres another area in the gamerprofile where the Bungie Machine ID is stored (its on everyones profile) but the code around it may trigger it online... you'd need to find your machine id using a film editor and a clip, then search in hex using hex values the machine ID code... If you could post from about 5 lines above and below that too would or may help me...
  9. 1: On Halo3 change Armor color to all white as this makes it easier to search for the right area in hex. 2: Open Gamerprofile with hex editor and search for 02 00 00 00 02 00 00 00 02 in hex values - this is the white armor colour. 3: Scroll upwards around 13 lines until you see this hex value below. Note the xx's is just your own profile ref's but you will see it begins and ends with what's shown in bold - again this is to make sure you're in the right place, the 63 E8 3F FF line will the the FIRST 63 E8 3F FF line you come across scrolling up from the area where the armour colour hex is shown. 63 E8 3F FF xx xx xx xx 06 4: Highlighting from the first 00 after the 06 value from the code above, go all the way down to the last FF just before your armour colour values then make sure you paste write (not insert) the following values given below over it... 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 30 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 0F 00 00 00 00 00 00 02 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 03 00 00 00 0A 0B 00 00 02 02 02 02 02 02 02 03 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 0A 0E 0E 0A 08 08 08 08 08 08 08 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 49 B8 73 F4 00 00 00 00 47 F0 F0 A5 00 00 0F FF 00 07 07 03 03 03 07 07 03 03 01 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 FF 00 00 00 1E 00 7F 00 00 00 00 FF FF FF FF FF FF 00 00 00 00 FF FF FF FF Anyone experienced with hexing will see they are in the right place, showing the 01 30 values underneath the 63 E8 3F FF line. Maybe paste the above values first into a blank hex page to look more familiar to you? This whole area in the hex determines armour unlocks and I can only get it to unlock Hayabusa & EoD on profiles so far... If anyone has a Recon Armour account or can make a blank one with a Dev Kit, post the same Hex Values here so I can compare.
  10. Im probably taking the blame for the site being closed down, I'm getting a few messages on my Gamertag about it, which are just being deleted. I didn't in know way expect my story to have such a huge impact on that site.
  11. ^ LOL !! I just wanted to ask a small question as I dont know much about modding - but if you was to install a game to the xbox360 HDD, I noticed using xsata it splits the game into something like 52 data files inside the games numbered folder, Gears2 for instance - Content/0000000000000000/4d53082d/00040000/ Is it possible to hack and mod the data inside the files so that what the game plays from the HDD is different to what it would play from the disc?
  12. Ah I maybe able to help here...but it is awkward... The live vision gamerpic is stored in your xbox profile data that is saved on your HDD or Mem card. Use a hex editor to open the profile, but the long winded bit is you need to extract every PNG image by copying and pasting the PNG data from the right side of the hex editor screen into windows notepad and then save as .png This is best done with a new profile with no games played otherwise you will have the png code for every achievement picture!! You can input your own 64 x 64 picture into the profile to relace live vision by opening your own .png image with notepad and copy/paste the code over the code in the profile - then all the left over code if the current pic code is smaller than what was originally there needs to be changed to 000000000 etc... Its so long winded, and painstakingly slow... if there was a program out there could literally show all images within the profile data and extract and or inject option to replace each and every one by choice - would be perfect. You cant change any of the Main Gamerpics with your own code as these are server based and as soon as you connect to live it checks to see if main gamerpic codes match that with xbox live so no one can have their own main game pics, but it is possible with personal gamerpics.
