#110456 How to force host yourself on xboxlive

Posted by secricity on 08 December 2009 - 10:29 PM

What your going to need is a tool called ION and zone alarm.

Your going to want to download zone alarm here:

    http://www.filehippo..._zonealarm_free

And ION here and yes its a clean copy of ION:

    http://d9fe2d2b.linkbucks.com

To setup Ion your going to want to open it in like winrar or winzip because its a rar file. When you open it look for setup.exe there will be a setup.msi by it but if you click that one it will not work properly.Posted Image

If your running vista, when you sign in you will get a blue screen constantly every time you sign in. To get rid of the blue screen you will have to uninstall ION in safe mode. Zone alarm is a service so it will start up every time your computer starts up as it is a firewall. ION is not a service so it does not start up automatically. Your going to have to bridge a connection from your computer to your xbox for this to work. Then your going to want to open up zone alarm and go to firewall tab / main and turn the fire wall completely off. Then go to ION and click settings then your going to pick your bridge ( if you pick the wrong bridge it will not do its job right ). For me its a MAC bridge virtual NIC.

Getting IP's with ION. Your going to want to hit start in the bottom left hand corner and your friends IP's will show up. When you do this your going to want to make sher that zone alarm fire wall is on but the actual fire wall is off.Posted Image

To make sure that its actually working your going to want to go to your dashboard and hit start if you do this right so far your routers connection should come up and a couple of other ones like Microsoft's IP and may be a couple of other ones depending on your connection. Then your router connection should be one of the first ones to come up. Then when they come up right click them and hit edit and rename them xboxliveconnection1 xboxliveconnection2 and so on. Then after that while there high lighted click ZA Trust then go to zone alarm, but before that your going TO HAVE TO be in main where the fire wall connections are and the switch over to zones, then back over to main then back to zones and etc until it shows up as trusted. If you don't do this ION will crash and freeze ION is retarded like that but its free.

Who ever is hosting the game is the connection host and who ever is below him and so on. Then your going to want your friend to host a game. Right before the game go to zone alarm the firewall then main then click Internet Zone Security up to High and Trusted Zone Security to off. Then you go over to the stand by tab and you can choose how much up and how much down you want. UP is how long your connected and Down is how long your disconnected.

This is a IP grabber (internet protcol) its another one you can use besides cain and able. I do not want any one to use this program if they are going to be flooding anyone's network as this is ilegall. I do consent to useing this to force host your self or what ever use you have besides IP flooding this program is the soul property of TamoSoft as I do not own it.

    From TamoSoft :

From the developer: "CommView is a program for monitoring Internet and Local Area Network (LAN) activity capable of capturing and analyzing network packets. It gathers information about data passing through your dial-up connection or Ethernet card and decodes the analyzed data. With CommView you can see the list of network connections and IP packets and examine individual packets. Packets are decoded down to the lowest layer with full analysis of the most widespread protocols. Full access to raw data is also provided captured packets can be saved to log files for future analysis. A flexible system of filters makes it possible to drop packets you don't need or capture only those packets that you wish to capture. This application is designed for Internet users and small and medium-sized networks and can run on any Windows system. It requires an Ethernet or Wireless Ethernet network card supporting the NDIS 3.0 driver standard, or a standard dial-up adapter.

"Additionally, our new remote monitoring technology allows CommView users to capture network traffic on any computer where Remote Agent is running, regardless of the computer's physical location. To take advantage of this unique feature, you need to deploy CommView an add-on for CommView. CommView features full decoding of the following protocols: ARP, BCAST, BGP, BMP, CDP, DHCP, DIAG, DNS, EIGRP, FTP, GRE, HTTP, ICMP, ICQ, IGMP, IGRP, IPsec, IPv4, IPv6, IPX, HSRP, NCP, NDS, NetBIOS, NFS, NLSP, OSPF, POP3, PPP, PPPoE, RARP, RADIUS, RDP, RIP, RIPX, RPC, RSVP, RTSP, SAP, SER, SMB, SMTP, SNA, SNMP, SOCKS, SPX, TCP, TELNET, TFTP, UDP, VTP, WAP, WDOG, 802.1Q, 802.1X.

The latest version features several new protocol decoding modules, formula syntax highlighting, a bandwidth usage indicator, improved Windows XP themes support, and a few other enhancements.
