Hey guys. So, my nan wants to watch the boy in the striped pajamas, and i have discovered that it is officially the HARDEST to find/download film in the world :s

anyway, after searching for countless hours, i have resorted to downloading it at slooow download speeds as a torrent.

My question is, as i am new to torrent downloading, can i pause a download, then restart my laptop then continue the download?

Torrents are so much fast (if you have seeders) than downloading from a server. Programs that "increase" your download speed are just mini torrent programs.

Anyway you can close the program, turn the PC off and it will just start back up when you launch the program again.

Thanks, but usually from hosting sites i get around 500-700kb/s but on bitlord i get around 80kb/s most, and thats even with a lot of seeds

any idea how to speed it up?

Well I don't use bitlord I use Bittorrent. I don't really know anything about bitlord. If you had utorrent, bittorrent or another program that appears to use the same source I could help.

I looked at your little movie torrent. Theres 2 seeders lol. Which means probably a max of 100kb between 2 people, assuming their torrenting other stuff. Your going to just have to wait, then you will be the 3rd seeder, then overtime there will be more. The automatic servers that download torrents, don't download files over 1 GB, which I assume that movie is so thats why the speed is lacking.

and the movie was 850mb, i decided i would wait it out, as i have heard some torrents can be infected and the such

talking of that, i know there is never a way to guarantee a virus-free download, but does anyone know any trustworthy torrent sites?

Get on a good private site. There are no viruses because the torrents are always checked and only allow good scene releases. Try bitsoup.org to start out. If the signups are full, just send me a PM.

Their is also a request forum so you could request the movie if it isn't already upload or if it doesn't have seeds.
