i know this sounds like a noob question but where is the profile stored? is it the folder that all the games and halo 3 stuff is in?

you think i dont know that.. im asking if the profile is the FOLDER that all you stuff is in (aka halo 3 usermaps, cod4 stuff)

Also he's asking about where the profile for the achievements is. I personally do not know, but I'll get back to you Wiz asap.

Anyway, your gamer profile is located in the first directory of your profile directory. You know the folder you go to for your Halo 3 stuff? Go up one level and go to the very top. Then, click the folder in there then you should see a file. That's your gamer profile.

Partition 3>Content>::Your Folder full of all your saves::>(providing i can remember, Im not at my XSATA) > FFFFF0 > profile begins with E00

To extract your profile from your HDD or MU do the following.

Purchase either
>Xport
>Xsata (HDD ONLY)
>Datel Transfer Kit (MU ONLY)
>Call 18004myxbox and get transfer cable (HDD ONLY)

Personally, I choose the Xport most convienent.

Here's a quick Xport / Xplorer Tut.

Plug in your HDD or MU to your PC with the prefered cable.
Open up Xport
OPen your HDD or MU
Go to partition 3
Content
User Profiles or Saves
Now look for a folder that has all your saves in it (Should contain more then 5)
It starts with E0000
In there you'll see folder named FFE at the bottom or top
In there is a folder 0000
In there is your profile



Now you see E0000(Insert Letters/Numbers Here)
Thats your profile and thats the profile ID. Which you need to remember.
