So, you want to Jailbreak your iPod Touch, eh?

First, let me tell you some things.

Restore - Deleting your old firmware on your iPod, and putting a new one in.

DFU Mode - Deeper state of recovery mode.

That's about it.

First things first, when you think you have bricked your iPod Touch, you haven't. Its impossible to brick these, unless you unplug the USB and swing it around over your head in a sock and beat your little brother. Than yeah, you bricked it, but thats the main problem of your life.

DFU Mode = Your god. How to do it? First, plug your device into your computer.

1. Hold your Power + Home button until your screen goes black.
2. Once its black, count 2 seconds (one mississippi, two mississippi), then let go of the Power button.
3. Keep holding the Home button until iTunes recognizes it.

You are now in DFU mode! Congratulations! w00tw00t.

Okay, so now you know how to do that, you want to know how to jailbreak everything right? Well lets pick your firmware.

Okay, so now you have ALL of this new awesome software. But what are you going to do with it all?

To use WinPwn and Pwnage, it's pretty simple.

Click the device you have(this is for iPod Touch only, this guide). When it asks to browse for Firmware, find the one you downloaded from the site above. I suggest 2.0.1, but 2.0.2 support is coming out soon. Then start to build what you want. Installer + Cydia, YouTube fix, choose your boot logos, your partition size (Don't touch it if you don't know what it is.) Then build your IPSW.

WinPwn>Once it's done building, click on iPwner. Let it Pwn your iTunes, then put your device into DFU mode.Hold Shift and click "Restore", then find your custom .ipsw file. BAM!

PwnageTool> Once it's done building, go to iTunes, put your Device into DFU mode. Hold Alt(Option) and click Restore, find your custom .ipsw file, and let it do its thing.
