How to fix an Xbox 360 with the Ring of Death

First off, this is the ring of death.







If you have that, You've come to the right place.






Step 1:
Turn on the Xbox 360
Step 2:
Wrap a Towel around the 360. Be sure to cover every Air Vent.
Step 3:
Let it sit there and run for 10 minutes.
Step 4:
After the 10 Minutes is up, Unwrap the Towel. Turn off the 360.
Step 5:
Let it sit and cool for 30 Minutes

HOW IT WORKS:



The Ring of Death is caused by the CPU being Desoldered. Therefore, heating it up melts the solder. Letting it cool allows the Solder to harden and reconnect everything.

Your Xbox 360 Will now work for around 5 days. For a permanent fix, you'll have to call Microsoft

OK i have a better way

Step 1. Get Your Phone/Get On Your Pc
Step 2. Say That Your Xbox Has The Red Ring
Step 3. They Send You A Box
Step 4. Put Xbox Into Box
Step 5. Post It To The Address Required
Step 6. Wait A Thew Weeks
Step 7. After the Thew Weeks You Should Have A working Xbox

Dont do the tut up there as it just makes it worse LOL just send it to the people how know what they are doing:)

Thew? Anyway or you could do what I do after you get the red rings of death let it sit for a few hours,come back turn it off and then turn it back,and then it works. =D

And don't lie Microsoft dosen't know what there doing.

Pretty much the best thing you can do is water cool an xbox, it cost about 200 bucks though, i might do it to mine when i get enough money

Or you can x-clamp it, it works pretty good, i have had one console work for more then a year.
