    hey guys im COMPLETELY new to H3 modding and i was just wondering if it was just remotely possible to mod with out buying mod stuff...

    you can get a free transfer cable from microsoft and the programs/apps are free

    ... no, I havn't tested this but you can probably do it with a usb flash drive, but yea, i haven't tested it. Go for it.

    lol you can call them and ask for one
    just tell the, that you need it for your hard drive for your other xbox(elite)
    and they will ask you for a serial number and you can tell them where to send from there.

    Well.

    Call Microsoft (1-800-4-MY-XBOX)
    Get to 360 Accessories / Transfer Cable, Request One
    Get a second 360 Console Serial Number, give them that and yours (make sure the one that isn't yours hasn't been used)
    They will ask for a shipping address, give them yours.

    Thats it.
