I know most of you have left, or yet are complaining about this site or something. However, your reading this so read the rest.

We run an IPB Board (This forum), no I didn't make it lol. This is called a CMS (Content Management System) known as Invision Power Board or IPB. The original iBotModz (ibotmodz.forumer.com) ran IPB 1.3 Final or something. It had too many exploits and that caused the move to this board. We now run some IPB 2.x.x. IPB 3.0.0 is on the horizon, and I just want to throw some of the new features out there.

Features

• No more pop-up windows, those are blocked by programs. All AJAX now
• SEO friendly URL's
• Reputation System (Karma)
• PM are now a running chatbox, sort of like iPhone text screen
• New hook system for modifications
• Search system changed for easier queried searches
• A sweet new skin

Otherwise, I'm working something that really doesn't pertain to this site. It will help this site, if it works, because I can then embed it into it, and have the first one. It involves gears. Thats all I'm saying.

If you haven't left, thanks for staying. For those you say were dead, then why has this site's Alexa rating gone up 28,000?

Forgot, the main reason of this news story. Since IPB 3.0 is coming, and I can't plan if they will take the Download Manager with them, I went ahead and opened it to Public, it basically just stores content in a form like files.xboxssoftmods, except for other content. Give it a shot and report bugs in "problem" section

I'm still here, it's still fun to get on this site and help just about anyone who needs it.

I am still continuing to learn Computer Engineering, IT Tech, Programming and Networking, and I'll continue releasing programs uner iBotModz.

Lots of people like my programs, and eventually I'll release my new browser program for iBotModz.


Only this time, a better media player, a working notepad, halo 3 embedded applications (i made them), among registry editing, and some other stuff to make it a good "Overall" program.

Ok, sites getting better I see. Good. Now we need is that IPB 3.0 update, that should pimp up the site. Can't wait for these features.

Well from what i see so far it doesn't look dead to me cause i see a lot of people always on and if it were "dead"i don't think there would be all of these people always on here (just my opinion)

This site isn't dead nor is it dieing.

If you want to see a site that is dead go have a look at MofM and if you want to see a site that is dieing go have a look at MCM.


I think I know what the first surprise is but I could be way off. As for the GoW surprise I got no idea.

@DeathGrip, it isn't a mod. Its pre-packaged in the bundle of IPB 3 now, so its going to be there.
