ok,
my laptop [which ive had for about 1 year +]
no longer shows the little symbol to indicate sound on the bottom right, it also no longer runs IE and if i watch to many videos on youtube my firefox freezes and then doesnt work until i restart my computer. my aim and msn freeze everytime i press "enter" after typing. no longer shows the little computer symbol on the bottom right to show that im connected. whenever i press start> all programs; nothing happens, it wont open my all programs.

i think i need to re format my hardrive but im not sure how, its a very annoying thing

Did your registries crash or something? Do you have a registry cleaner?

This is a very old thread, and i do not understand why it was recently resurrected.. Lol... But if anyone else has similar problems, and looks to this thread for advice... read On.

I format every two months or so, just to keep my computer snappy.... Keep everything i want to keep on my USB drives... I Have 5 320GB drives filled.

Need a windows CD to reinstall with?
