I've seen the hundreds of topics around this subject, and this topic will be the final place holder for the discussion and future ideas before an idea is implemented. I've seen topics from many members cussing at me, and making huge font to attract me to it. No worries, I read mostly every topic then implement something later.

Here are my ideas and the options that MUST be included or altered with them.


VIP Tryout
-Must have been here for 1 month
-Must have 50 posts
-Then state a simple pre-made setup in the VIP Tryout section
-You then need a set number of people to say "yes" before you are allowed in

Increase Post Requirement
-VIP will be worth 400 posts
-and 6 months of membership

Charge for VIP
-VIP will have a flat charge of 10 bucks for lifetime

Increase post word limit
-Instead of the minimum of amounts of words per post/topic.
-We bump replies to around 50 characters.
-And new topics to around 250 characters


None of these ideas are set in stone, I just want to hear feedback and maybe some new requested ones.

I don't think this will be necessary if VIP is 400 posts, and I think the minimum should be like 10-20 for a reply

I beleive that to have VIP you must:

- Reach 400+ Posts
- Post a tryout in the VIP tryout forum
- 5-10 Members & 3-4 Staff Agree to letting that person to have VIP

This is necessary to reduce ALL spam.

250+ Words for 'New Thread' makes it so you have an intelligent question/thought or a preview.
50+ Words for reply makes it an intelligent answer.

I think we should use a combination of:
-VIP Tryout
-Increase post word limit (love this idea)
-Charge for VIP

Add those so their are different options for people to try get VIP.

Also snowmon the word limits arn't that demanding. It would just really cut done on the stupid posts like "Cool", "nice job", etc.

I agree with Smokie, have a combination so if someone really wants VIP they can pay or they can try-out

Yeah, but having a payment option helps pay for expenses.

I think that the best option would be increasing the total post count to 350, making each post have 50 OR significantly answer a question or add to the topic at hand,

then the tryout where you have to get 5-9 members w/ over 50 posts say ok, 3 vip members say ok, and 2 mods say ok.
I think that you should either have the option of trying out OR paying 10 dollars flat. 10 dollars should not be a REQUIRMENT in my opinion.

You shouldnt be required to play the arcade to be VIP, thats just going to waste peoples time... On top of that why would peaches want our ibotmodz ponits?

thats an unreasonable amount, and i don't know why playing in the arcade should get someone VIP

Ok my suggestion would be paying 150000 points with 300 posts. On top of that approval of peaches.

I agree with all of those.

However i'm sure alot of members don't wanna pay for the VIP.

Most of the stuff can be found on google. I honestly haven't used anything from VIP.

this is just to get rid of spam, even if it isn't so good someone needs 400 posts

couldnt we have like special "trusted" members to go through replys and if they find spam delete the post and or ban them from posting O__o

Yea, if its just to get rid of spam, get a team together and have them delete spam posts so they dont count, and then make it so that the post is deleted for normal members but its in a special color for a mod so they can take the necesary banning steps. But giving those people the right to ban might make them to powerful, thatd be basically more mods.
