--Okay so your reading this to install LED's into your Xbox. The diagrams shown in this show 8 LED's, though you do not have to use all eight. For this project I used 8 Red LED's with 150ohm Reistors. Alrightly lets begin.

PLease review this WHOLE tutorial before doing this.

Also before we begin here is a link to a resister calculator.
    Resistor Calculator
    Alternitive Resistor Calculator

    Need Materials
    - 3mm LED's - Any color
    - Resistors (I used 150 ohm, 100 ohms are good though)
    - A Voided Warrenty Xbox
    - A soldering Gun
    - Some extra wire (black and red wire works great)
    - And probably some hot glue

    Alrightly, lets begin...

Take your LED's that you have, and your resistors, and solder your resistors to your LED's. One per LED. Solder the resistor to the longer leg of the LED (thats the positive leg of the LED) If done correctly it should look something like this.

Okay now that we got that done. Using your extra wire preferably a black wire) solder it to all the parts of the LED that have no resistor (or the negitive side) then once thats soldered, you should have one long wire. And when I mean long I mean long, you have to be able to stretch this wire all the way to your controller ports. Next using your Red Wire connect (solder) it to all of the LED's legs with the resistor. THen also make on long red wire. You should then have 2 wires, a red and a black wire. Repeat this process all again, so you should have a total of 8 LED's with reistors and 4 long wires, 2 black and 2 red. Solder the 2 black wires together so you have one black wire and hen do the same for the red wire. You should now have 1 black long wire, and 1 red long wire. Refer to this diagram before for help. Pay no attention to the key. The resistor can be whatever matches how many LEd's your using, and your LED can be any color. But I would recommend 3mm LED'sPosted Image

Now take out one of your controller ports from your Xbox, the thing that looks like this.

Now, cut one red wire, and one black wire from the controller port. Now strip the wires. Now this is the easy part. Go over to your 1 black wire and solder it to the black wire comming from the controller port. THen solder the other side of that black wire that you cut (remember) back to the 2 black wires. You should then have a clump of 3 black wires soldered together. Put some electirc tape around them. Now repeat this process with the red wire from the controller port. Below are some newly added diagrams to help you understand this step.

And finally, take 4 of the LED's, or one side of what you did, and hot glue the LED's to the sides of your case. Like this picture below isn't perfect, but this is the inside of your Xbox side. Like its got the hole's. If you glue 4 LED's to each side, it looks like this, and when you turn your Xbox on, it has a side glow!

I hope this helped. If your confused in any way, just PM (personal message) me, I'd be glad to help you. This was made by me, Dark Master
