For those of you who where on the list, the Bungie Staff Moderator stated that there was no such idea to ban anyone at all.
*I am unable to find the blog/post so this may or may not be inaccurate

Fileshare - Permanent Fileshare Ban if you have ANY modded content on it. (Videos, Maps, Films, Film Clips, Screenshots)
Modded Map - Leaked / Released maps with YOUR name result in a 30 day ban from Xbox Live
*Unknown* - Permanent Xbox Live ban!

Someone please find the unknown, and ill continue looking for this post. I beleive that the Unknown may be the 2nd chance you used to play modded maps/upload or w/e.

It's a new Bungie ARG, it has nothing with modding at all.

for leaking mod no, it could be matchmaking ban and / or file share ban

but for release mod yes, this is a console ban because you do some retro-engineering onto microsoft files, and because you used retro-engineering (i dunno the spelling) to find microsoft private keys

yea i just tried about a hour ago to download and upload something on my file share and it said unable to transfer so i guess i got my file share banned

this is $%#^%# stupid why should they ban us we just want to make the game better seems as it gets boring real fast i mean its not like were modding in matchmaking so there is no point in banning people unless they do that like ftw

PS- Bungie bans Fileshares People, not you. Even though its just a modded user map, makes it a stupid reason to ban a fileshare. Maybe if microsoft didnt step in as much in the production of this game, maybe it would be teh funzors

You cannot have modded items of any sort in your fileshare. Whether it be Films, Film Clips, Screenshots, Maps, Game Variants. Anything at all will end up in PERMANENT Fileshare Ban.
