    Help with iPoints mod for phpbb3

    After installing everything I go to my ACP and click .mods tab and i get this error every $%#^%# time

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/compton/public_html/lhforum/includes/acp/acp_points.php on line 1

    I'm sorry but... IM GETTING SICK OF THIS.

    We have sections for a reason. Please keep your problems there!

    GODzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I wish i was mod and i could fix problems like this.

    That means a DOM signature was added, since line 1 is corrupt. Use a better text editor instead of notepad to save these, and re-upload using FlashFXP or FileZilla because something you did during transfer messed up that file.

    I used dreamweaver. I'm still getting this error and I'm using filezilla to upload them.

    Well thats the issue, so filezilla is adding a DOM signature which causes line 1 to fail.

    Try internet explorer, FireBug, CoreFTP

    Ok, now that I can access the .mods tab in my ACP, once i go through all the options and enable it and stuff It doesn't seem to .. well work. like i dont see ne way users can donate points to eachother i dont see a spot that shows the points of each user and so on its like the mod doesnt exist.

    The mod doesn't exist because every file you uploaded got a DOM signature which added that error so get like SmartFTP and re-check your edits and re-upload the files. That is the common error always, there is never a "quote" error in the actual mod. Unless you find one, otherwise your causing the errors.
