so in all ill need dothalo, resighner, all the freakin maps i wan mod, and mi 360 connected 2 the internet in some magical way? and if i do, they will all be in one neat folder, ready fo use? and will this mega folder take up alot of space? even with all stuff on folder it will only slow down when dot halo is in use? well im understanding a bit... but a resigner will direct stuff to mi 360?

Your 360 does not need to be connected to the internet.
You need to make the folder make one that says clean maps and one that says modded maps and one that says programs and put all those folders into a folder labeled halo 2 modding stuff.
That's pretty much it...

i know if i SAVE dothalo can i make it an ICON PROGRAM. do not tell me anything else, just tell me what i need to do in steps to make dothalo a Program ready for use at the start menu.

havent done it yet. im so scared that it will ruin the computer but if i do HOW WILL MY EDITED VERSION OF TEH MAP GET ON MY 360 AND ON TO HALO 2. Does it already do it automaticly? give me a solid answer and i might get the guts to do it. (so i just save it and its a program?)

Dot Halo is free.
ONCE YOU PUT THE MODDED MAP ON YOUR HARD DRIVE AND START UP THE GAME THE MODDED MAP IS THERE.
NEVER CHANGE THE NAME OF THE MAP.... (sorry for caps but i had to get a point across)

All Halo 2 modding programs are either closed source or open source. Meaning its free and some you can even edit yourself. The programs you are looking for are DotHalo.

Heres a page to DotHalo, with Downloadlinks and information


None of these programs I link you to will harm your computer. I wouldn't however download random junk of google, there are people out there who want to harm your computer. Sorry but this is not that easy. You need quite alot of stuff to get Halo 2 mods to your xbox 360. If you had a normal xbox it would be easier. Before I explain the process do you have
1. xSATA or xPort
2. 360 near computer
3. 360 Harddrive
4. Internet on both consoles

1. Right click on icon, click "Make shortcut"
2. It will be like Copy of Dothalo (1)
3. Drag that exact icon to your desktop, the duplicate
4. Rename it to just Dothalo
5. Drag that icon to anywhere in your start menu and it should work as long as the main program files(where the main .exe file is located) aren't moved or deleted

thank you. Im using the laptop. does it still work? so were do i get the maps on my harddrive? srry for the annoyence but im not a genious like you gys. and i geuss 360 must be connected to the computer? maybe by ethernet cord?

before i accidently made microsoft office ''host'' the program which i succesfully made. but it just keeps taking me to word with a bunch of random writing. what ''destination'' shp=ould dothalo be in? mi computer just keeps asking which program to support and now i ant change it!!! keeps on going to ''file conversion'' on microsoft word. WTF

Extract using winRAR http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
Install MircosoftFrame 2.0 from google http://www.microsoft...&DisplayLang=en
then open the .exe of Dothalo and your done.

Actually if you un-screw your hdd there is a port you can plug into your computer and then transfer files to it .
