I know i'm like a billion years late but i got my hands on the Halo 2 Beta i just thought it would be a nice contribution to the Halo 2 Section

How to run

Step 1: FTP to your xbox

Step 2: go to your file explorer open up your E drive and click beta_unlocked.xbe

Step 3: Load up the beta and hit b when it says sign in to xbox live

Step 4: Click Arranged Game NOTE: You need two people to play "LOCAL"

Ok heres a challenge if anyone if a experienced modder try and make it so you can open the sytem link screen and play with people 0.o

Download link will be active for 180 days after that i need to reupload it <: so if it does message me

-No, i couldn't upload as a attachment but it's on my game front account so it will be up for awhile

Thanks for sharing. I tried it out and it's unfortunately not the version that has the Mongoose or the flamethrower. None the less, it's still fun to mess around with.

There seems to be some issues playing with two people, though. I could never play split screen, I had to play by myself.

Yeah, works fine by myself. You just can't do split screen with two people. Every time you get two people in the lobby, only one profile will show up.

It works, there's just a few bugs (obviously, since it's a beta).

They might be the same thing. I know the filesize is different, but that could be from different types of RARing. I never ended up doing any real checks.

EDIT: Ok so i compared the files yours doesnt have the update or the beta unlocker but i'm still checking the version.

Edit: Looks like you two probably have the same version. I could load your version, Peaches, but I couldn't actually play it without Chaos' xex that allows you to play custom games. Obviously since I used the same xex it might not actually be the same game, but who knows. I couldn't find any differences, though.

And it's funny how there are certain bugs in the beta that still exist in the real game like double shots with the BR. And I love how the Carbine has a BR clip, but obviously with one shots instead of bursts. Pretty cool.
