I would like to know how many people play minecraft here, and if any of you would be interested in playing on a server exclusively for iBotModz members?
Because Peaches runs a server anyways, there is no need. PM him for details.

I don't play yet, but a lot of people are wanting me to set up a server for them. So, I might be doing that sometime soon.

The server is vanilla with the exception of SimpleServer.

I'm planning on moving it to Buhhkit once the modding API comes out. As for the actual playing.

Everyone is defaulted to a Guest until I manually approve their usernames. So until I do that, you cannot touch/do anything. You can however walk around.

    Have fun,
PM me your username if you want to be moved to members.

The giant rainbow colored building was the first building I ever made. A friend made the little brick house, and some guy who pays me a buck a month build that lava junk, any random structure, etc. My current project is that giant black box. I play about once a week some time. Of course, my username is iBotPeaches on the server. If you see anyone else on it, you don't know them and they don't know you more than likely. The server does require a legit minecraft license. So anyone running pirated copies. sorry.

    Spoiler

I'm not sure its a good idea to allow everyone too see that, maybe remove it and tell people to PM you to gain access?
Also, can you please make me a member, my username is "Quinn_Z"

you build things. You need a shelter first off if you want to survive nightfall (bad guys spawn in the darkness).
Its a sandbox game, the goal is to build things and aquire better tools. For example, you can craft a crafting table to get started. http://www.minecraft...t/wiki/Crafting

best way is to learn is have a friend that knows how to play, and get him/her to guide you through the basics.

i tried that crafting thing and got nowhere... this game seems just too unstructured for me. i like to know what i'm aiming for and why. never mind

Matty, first thing you should do is look for trees, and hit them down to get the wood. From that you can make a crafting box. Get some dirt, or stone if you make a pickaxe, and build a shelter. You need to seal yourself in for the night. After that, just build something cool, and stay alive :)

For the first day I was a chicken with my head cut off.

My friend showed me this video, and that helped getting me going.

Though, I agree with Quinn a ton that having a friend who knows the game is the only true way to get your questions answered.
