I have an idea change the domain name to ibotpornz well get more views and hopefully more members or better you just make it a porn website with a VIP section for all old and new members which is about modding lol.
Just throwing some ideas around.

You have to read a freakin novel on how to make a working gametype, where as other gametypes you may only need to know what two tags mean.

It was way too confusing for me. However, I am not a ForgeHub professional map developer, so I assumed that would be the case.

To be honest, I just want Halo 2. The same game w/ new graphics for Xbox 360. 0 bug fixes.

I just want an xbox that doesn't use the ATi Xenos graphics, so that there would be some better looking games made for it.

So we all agree a h2 remake. New campin same cartoonish graphs but with extra detail and leave everything else the supper jumping mods and this game will last years introduce filshare forge 3.0(spawn trees and shit) theatre basically combine the h2 gamestyle with some of h3 improvements and no halo reach shit.

12 hours of data collection.

Its become apparent that a great deal of our hits and/or bandwidth theft is coming from search engines. We also had some blackhat SEO bot, that just crawled 7,000 pages in 12 hours (MJ12 Bot) . That bot has been banned, and we should all apologize to fattwam for the actions of this bot. We were also "cloaking" our forums which I did not know was a blackhat SEO technique.

Basically, in a nutshell. You provide the search engines with a different view than a regular guest would encounter. That was true for us. I removed lots of irrelevant information to allow the search engine to only get the content of the post. It was quicker that way and it prevented the bot from hitting our main page. That is called "cloaking" and prevents good placement on search engines. Hopefully, with this small change we can begin to climb the ladder of Google/Bing/Yahoo.

The last day of this year falls on a Friday. I don't know about you guys, but I don't plan on spending much time on iBot on the last day of 2010. Maybe if it was 4 years ago and we were successful, I'd be, but I'm not.

Point being. Our options


1.If a Title Update for Halo Reach is announced prior to December 31st, we will await that TU and live on.
2.December 31st hits w/ no TU. Site put into Read Only state.
3.We hit an abnormal boost of traffic and live on.
4.We expand our forum and maybe take a new grasp on online forums. Open for suggestions, and live on.
5.I sell the site for 2000$ USD to the highest bidder.
6.Redirect site to a different modding site to move the remaining traffic elsewhere
7.Give the site to Fattwam, and he does what he wants.

I don't want to pick any of these options on the 31st, because I'll more than likely be busy. The decision will probably be made towards the 3rd or 4th. Depending on my time.
