If you have recently have gone on the limewire website or program, you will notice a note that says this exactly:

    LEGAL NOTICE
THIS IS AN OFFICIAL NOTICE THAT LIMEWIRE IS UNDER A COURT-ORDERED INJUNCTION TO STOP DISTRIBUTING AND SUPPORTING ITS FILE-SHARING SOFTWARE. DOWNLOADING OR SHARING COPYRIGHTED CONTENT WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION IS ILLEGAL.

The search thing is completely blocked for it, but you can still play music on limewire. I guess it is back to google search or something for music now.

I use this really unusual thing for music. I think it's called 'YouTube'?

I downloaded uTorrent, now I just got to learn where to get the albums ( such as using magnet links) -- And how do you tell if they are high quality?

I used limewire a long time ago (probably about 4 years ago) and got a lot of viruses from it

now I just use uTorrent and TPB to get my music and pretty much any software, whatever TPB doesn't have I just go to demonoid and I have never gotten any viruses from doing that.

I also always organize the lists by seeders and read comments

It will say on the torrent description the music quality. 320kbps is high quality mp3, but you can get better then that in other formats.

Easiest way to get full albums or any song is to type the name of the album(or song) and use the 'site:' command and put mediafire or megaupload. ;D

BTW LimeWire had a built in anti-virus, it was like 60MB just to scan the files you download. They did that because people kept getting viruses.
