    my 5yo niece has a phone, but its for a legit reason, my sister and her ex fight alot, she doesn't want him to have her number, so he has my nieces lol

    Also now a days you parents can get those cheap phones that only work with 911 and 1 extra number so their kid can contact them or emergency services if needed.
