post here what computer you would build if money was no object that you would seriously use. Not just build and then let it collect dust in the corner.

    I'll start

    Posted Image

    accessories

LG W2453V-PF Black 24" Monitor - 2 of these. I like this monitor because it has 1920x1080 resolution and a contrast of 50000:1 and a refresh time of 2 ms.

I don't really have a preference for a mouse or keyboard so I'll keep this open.

    parts

Antec 1200 case - I like this case because it is really big and Antec has always had an amazing rating for cooling and reliability.

Intel Core i7-980X Extreme Edition - Its a 6 core Intel processor that runs at 3.33 Ghz. What more is there??

ASUS P6X58D-E LGA Motherboard a nice ATX motherboard meant for awesomeness.

GeForce GTX 480 video card - this video card is a really spectacular card the only problem is it runs pretty hot. I'll get some more fans for that.

SONY Black 18X DVD-ROM 48X CD-ROM - I'll get two of these just for the heck of it haha.

LG UH10LS20 Blu-ray Disc Combo - why not a blue ray player??

    Kingston HyperX 12GB (3 x 4GB) - 12GBs of RAM haha

512 GB SSD - for super fast boot up times :D

Seagate Barracuda 2TB hard drive - to store my stuff

    Antec 1200w power supply

nMEDIAPC memory card reader - cameras and stuff these days use way too many types of memory cards.

Logitech Z-5500 5.1 channel 505 watt speakers. Everybody needs loud speakers. :D

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

so yeah this is my awesome PC. If there are any problems please tell me and feel free to post your own dream PC here. It would be cool to see what everyone would like.

I thought AMD only worked with Radeon and not NVidia and Intel vice-versa?

no thats wrong. atil and nvidia both work on both... you can put any nvidia or ati card in a intel or AMD based pc and theyl b fine. in mac its mainly nvidia, but slowly ati is becoming supported in mac also.

Isn't the Intensity Pro a capture card?

That won't accomplish by itself as a video card, unless times have changed. You'll need a video card and a capture card.
