Well, my DVD drive decided to die a couple of months ago so I can't burn a DVD.
I was wondering if there was any way to install it on the other hard drive from my Windows 7.
Like, can I just install it to the hard drive without turning my computer off?

I don't know much about it, but you may be able to install it from a USB. Talk to Matty0 (http://www.ibotmodz....er/1342-matty0/), He may be able to help you.

ok, so this is your best bet without a disk drive, and i have to be honest, its not easy.
its called, "Leopard HD Install Helper" and its been in 0.3 beta for around 2 years (not gona get updated my friend) its a Japanese app but i have edited the files to allow it to run in an almost english mode... (best i could do..) anyway, heres the download
http://www.mediafire.com/?oziddttzg3g - (may need to be ran in compatibility mode for XP SP2 btw, im not certain, and certainly with admin privileges)
ok for instructions on use, i suggest you look here
http://www.insanelym...howtopic=110388
its probably the most in depth guide you will find.
btw, if you could just borrow a working disk drive, or move the iso onto a pen drive and burn it at a friends, you would make your life 100x easier. this method is NOT for beginners.
if you need any help with drivers (kexts) kernel panics, and what not, send me a pm or a reply here.
last bit of advice for a hackintosh newbie, start off with a pre hacked build (iAtkos S3 2 is probably your best bet to get a working snow leopard, iDeneb 10.5.8 lite is best for leopard) dont just jump in to booting from a legit apple dvd, that makes the process much more tricky. pre hacked builds are usualy very user friendly iAtkos is certainly VERY easy, with GREAT driver support.
Btw, what are your system components? CPU, Graphics, Sound, MoBo, Wifi/Ethernet...etc... cos there all important
Good luck m8!

2 gigs RAM.
I have 1 100mbs USB wifi adapter.

Did you build that PC or did you buy it OEM? If OEM, what brand/model?

indeed that would help, and as for finding out hardware i strongly suggest "Everest Ultimate"Did you build that PC or did you buy it OEM? If OEM, what brand/model?
it tells you basicaly everything you'd need to know about your hardware

Says mobo is "unknown".
I bought it stock. So yeah, OEM. But, I really don't know what that is.

Im looking in my computer now for it.
There's a stamp that says Foxiconn G33 M02 RJ

is that the iatkos 7i disk? because if so then it wont work with the HD install helper. it wont work with anything above 10.5.2 i believe (iatkos is 10.5.7)
i suggest you try Kalyway 10.5.2, VERY high compatibilty on that disk
Yeah, it is a iatkos 7i disk..
I'll download Kalyway, thanks dude.
You've been a huge help

K, well, I'm getting an error now that says "Operating System cannot boot" or something.
And when I'm in leopard hd install helper I always get two errors that say boot.ini not found or something "faild".

unfortunately i dont know mate if you have a friend with a mac you could get them to "restore" the iso to a usb pen drive and install from there (VERY fast install, works a treat) but other than that i have to be honest, you'd need a disk drive
