Over the next few days, and right now, I'll be experimenting with some people with legit and jtagged boxes to see if people non-modded can join my modded games.
If you own a legit/jtagged box and will be willing to test, I will be on XLink: Kai over the next 6 hours testing junk.

no clue. Lets try everything. I just made a slightly modded Guardian, with just fog changes.
Now I'm loading it up, and trying xlink out.

Id like to help. Im gonna try and set up Xlink right now. How do I use Xlink? lol
Edit: Ok well I can detect arenas for MW2 so its not that I'm not connected right, but I cant find Halo 3 arenas.

you wont be able to play together. in halo 3 there is 3 main securities for the .maps
1-the 2048bit RSA. which we use a modded xex to get past
2-connection host .map check. if your map doesnt match the other persons you are kicked to the lobby
3-connection host memory loading. this makes it so it one person changes there game it also changes on the others so its still equal or it doesnt actually change gameplay. if your non connection host and poke changes youll see them but for example projectiles youll see them but no differant damage.
being jtags cant real time edit theres no way you could actually show the .map changes with the other person and if you did manage to get the map to load there console would still load there and like you said for testing the fog it wouldnt show on theirs.
and another thing due to my understanding of xlink and XBC is the ping limit is to much on halo for others to connect. which is excluded to the fact that jtags can have that modded so they can connect to each other with them. if you dont know how its here http://forums.xbox-s...howtopic=716361 do from what i know you would also need a jtag to properly go into xlink which if you had one why not just have the modded.map to properly see the mods.
also being that xlink is using a lan network which is generally saying that the console is connected to the same wired network even if your console is banned you should be able to play. however from what i know when me and shade used to talk when he tried to play a usermap being his kv was banned he wasnt able to play. said he couldnt load the map ever so that might be an issue you come up with

I'd figure there would be some problems, still going to try things out though.
Dash_launch and that patch took a lot longer to install then I thought. I kept messing up, or putting them in the wrong folder.

Yo peaches, Unknown v2 is about to release his H3RTH. He's just patching XeX To stop it from coming online. So yeah, and im about to get my new dev and "someone" might be giving me a way to get it to xlink with jtags so hit me up over the next week.
