I'm planning on buying a Dynex HDTV from best buy (here it is)
But i never heard of this brand before, the reason on why i want to buy this TV is because of how cheap it is; it's only 499$ and it's a 40"

If you have a dynex TV or you know about them please post your opinion

EDIT: I decided to get a 40" Samsung for $700, thanks for the comments!

It is a budget TV. And it is a store brand. If you like the picture there is no reason not to get it. (I worked as a buyer for hhGregg) and that is the important part. The only thing that makes lower brands different from name brands is service. IF something was to happen, it's harder to get parts for them.

if you are wanting to game on it, make sure it doesnt have video lag before you buy it. Some TVs take a noticable time to process the video before displaying it

I got a Sony briva 32" for $445 Sony are doing offers on trading your old tv(no matter how shit it is ) plus about 200-300 depending on the size and price of your new tv. So go to a Sony shop and ask about the offer I got about £110($160) off my new tv which I managed to get for about $315 and they didn't even take the old tv.
