Grunt Modder http://halo.gruntmod...runt Modder.exe
A Rehasher (Grunt Modders hasher is too picky)
1gb USB Stick or larger
Halo Reach Beta
Film To Mod
Computer with a USB Port and Windows XP Or Higher
Ok, to start out, first you will need to update your Xbox 360, simply connect it to Xbox live and you will be prompted to
update.
After a semi lengthy update, plug in your Usb device and go to memory. Click on your Usb device, then select configure.
Your 360 will format your memory stick. (If you have data it might be erased, so I suggest backing it up first.)
After this is completed, go to your hdd and copy the film to your Usb. Then unplug the usb after this is completed.
Plug the Usb into your computer. Start Grunt Modder.
Click the tools tab on the grid and select the Hard-drive Icon.
In the new menu that pops up, select "open device".
Navigate the menu to the film clip you want, then right-click and hit extract.Choose a place to save it.
Then, go to Tools>Game Tools>Halo:Reach Beta>Film Tool
Don`t Use the grid to select it, the slot for the Film Tool opens the GTA IV editor for some reason, we will fix that
soon.
In the new menu that pops up, hit "Open File"
Click a gamertag to edit it, then change any of the fields of text.
In the menu, select "Save Changes"
A message should tell you are done.
In any rehasher, open the file and rehash, I choose Hash Block Calculator. In a future update, the rehasher in Grunt
Modder will be improved so this step can be skipped.
Go to utilities and open the con manager or, drag the file to Grunt Modder and it will open on its own.
If the files already open from you dragging it, skip this step.
Open the file using the menu option "Open File".
Go to the menu option and select "Save and Resign"
The Program will tell you are done.
Go back to USB Xtaf Explorer. If you closed it, and didn't select close drive before, you will get this error on opening
the drive:
Just close Grunt Modder and open it again to fix it, next time use the close drive option.
Navigate to the Halo Reach directory of your USB Stick and delete the old file.
Then right-click and hit inject.
When your done, hit close drive.
Your Done! Plug the USB Stick into the xbox 360 and go to memory management on the dashboard. Delete the old file from the
HDD and copy the new file onto it.
Play the modded film! If you have problems, post them here or at the official support forum:
