Hey so any chance someone could upload the moddified beta for me? The halo 3 beta unlock tool will not work for me + idk what to do with the beta con file and I'm confused XD So can anyone just upload the beta with the moddified xex and wave files? Thanks SO much!

I'm not uploading the modified XEX. You'll need a few tools to do this.

wxPirs to open the CON file to get to the maps/XEXs
H3Beta Unlock to manipulate the XEXs.
X360 GameHack (which is xextool with a GUI)

Make sure after you patch the XEX with H3Beta that you remove them from the ROOT directory. Then run X360 Gamehack, select retail and boom. Then re-move those files back in.

Ok so Ive got the files and the xex modded but i have to remove them from the root dircetory? And I can't get the X360gamehack working what the heck? maybe i wasn't ment to play the beta lol

Tell me what the error is for X360 Gamehack, as for moving the files out. Thats quite self explanatory. Drag the default.xex out of the folder location of the Halo 3 Beta. Then use X360Gamehack and move it back.

it won't let me open it, it opens winrar messages and says "CRC failed in X360GameHack.exe. The file is corrupt. Unexpected end of archive"

ok so i got it now but it just freezes when i load the beta i have some extra crap in the folder though, and im not sure what to remove or what, can you look at it peahces?

Extra junk wouldn't cause freezing. Are you loading the modified XEXs, that have like highground, valhalla and snowbound in the name?

yeah and the screen just goes black and freezes....

yeah I am, Idk It must have been something with the xexs so can some1 upload working moded ones?

Thats my problem, I believe I have everything correct but it will not work; when i click an xex the screen goes black and freezes

You still did something wrong then, otherwise it would be working.

When you used X360GameHack did you select the checkbox for RETAIL instead of DEV?
