EA managed to get us excited for Medal of Honor again when it announced that the series would finally be seeing some modern-day combat. Finally out from the shadow of WWII, the next installment will be set in Afghanistan. These new screenshots bolster our hopes that MoH is getting back on the rails. While EALA is handling the single-player experience, developer DICE (Battlefield: Bad Company 2) will be contributing the multiplayer component.

Weâ??re still waiting to get our hands on this one, but things are looking good at this early stage. Anyone think Medal of Honor can give Modern Warfare a run for its money?
