    Quotes from BlueShadowz so it will be partially wrong;

    Hey guys,

    You might have noticed I because very inactive, very fast. Well, I'm quitting. Modding has stopped being the community i fell in love with but a place for people to make money and steal and become "famous" with there "e-penis"'s. Also a world of hate and leaking. I'm handing down the sexually awsum title of "Dev Team" to a new and fresh coder of Brian (Dark Slipstreams) choice.

    I'm moving on, into the real world. I have for GCSE's this year and I'm very busy with that, I'm also an NCO for RAF, CCF section and spend the rest of my time on that. I have a loving girlfriend and I'm happy for the first time in ages and I just want to get along with her and spend time with her and not on my xbox and PC 24/7, researching computer games and learning code.

    Also BS is dyeing, and every other modding site is dying, I know it's happening and I don't want to see it happen all together, as much as it pains me. I will still be active on IM and Facebook and if you want to contact me look below;

    AIM: Dakotena
    MSN: alexx.ily.reed@hotmail.com
    Skype: alexx.illy.reed
    API Chat: Call Me Alexx
    Xbox Live: Caii Me Aiexx
    Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/Dakotena

    Thanks for putting up with my inactivity and keeping cool guys, just want to thank a couple of people;

    Dark Slipstream - Always helped me, showed me the way and putting up with me and for a while my ex girlfriend (sorry about that mate haha)
    Az - Being cool :p

    Well cya guys, I hope to stop bye at the site a bit too see how 360 Evolution is coming.

    Everyone is leaving, and people are growing up past the age to be modding.

    You can't really put

    leet modder of xbox 360

    on a resume.

    EDIT: Posted early.

    I meant to say, yeah modding is fun, but besides the fact that you enhance your knowledge in a couple of languages it doesn't help much. Your future job boss isn't going to care at all that you can mod an xbox 360 blindfolded. Halo 2 was the sharing caring release, where everything was free (except those hidden h2 map editors), Halo 3 was try and charge for money, which has turned what everyone wanted as a hobby into a harsh lifestyle.

    I'm giving Halo Reach a chance, and let it be known. It will be my last modding.

    Yeah, I'm still gonna do coding, and might make something else for the Xbox. But that depends on both; How much spare time I have and how much I can see my gf. As I live at school, it's sorta hard not to have free time, but SOOOO MUCH TO STUDY! D:

    Gee alex I wonder why your great plan was to blackmail her boyfriend into telling her he hates her and never wants to see her again.

    Which I'm okay with,but then you told her,yeah how could that go wrong.

    its unfortunate how things are dying

    every good site is almost dead, where as sites like se7 with terrible management and admins are snowballing out of controll

    its a sad cycle, who knows how far it will go

    Methinks we are at the end of an era and coming into a new one. I don't think we are going to like the new era.

    unfortunately

    a new era
    out of control
    and game-tits and 7en rule all, and there, all is hell, there is no controll

    time to go underground, but wait, i dont think there's enough real modders left to do that

    I'm not sure about Peaches, but I'm going to continue hosting and running Blue Shadowz as long as possible. I'm adapting to different consoles, and a more "official" feel, while maintaining the majority of it being modding.

    I'm doing my best to accomodate the popular games, and may take in several new features in order to keep up my activity. It's not dieing yet, but it's not as active as it COULD be.

    Hopefully Peaches, as well as the other good sites adapt to the change as best they can in order to continue providing for the community.

    If you mean the era of no modding, because everyone who knows anything is leaving modding for a real world occupation etc. Its like Peaches said, you can put "I'm a l33t xbox modder" on a resume

    In a blunt and broad way, thats what I was getting at. I don't mod xbox anymore... because its not fun. Halo 2 modding was fun, Halo 3, maybe for 5 mins. TBH, I think the reason most people bought an xbox was for Halo & Halo 2. Perhaps if the JTAG hack gets easier, then the modding community will come back. idk
