is there any tutorial on building a laptop?

You cant, they use custom parts.

and my dell didn't have bloatware.

but should I go after that Dell XPS thats being sold for because the guy doesn't want to try and fix the black screen boot up problem?

    is that an easy fix?

or should I try and find another?

Buying a broken computer is like buying a broken car. You don't know if you can fix it or how much it will cost you to.

Don't use Dell, just a rip off company with junk parts.

and remember every company you order a computer from, they make mark up profit, so build your own,

if you don't know how, im sure a friend of your does.

since I can't seem to find any good tuts for building a laptop, I guess I will have to buy one

I used Dell.com's 'build a system' tool and are the specs for this laptop good, Im going to have to increase my budget to $900 though

    Dell Inspiron 14 Notebook

    Processor - Intel® Core 2 Duo P8700 (2.53GHz/1066Mhz FSB/3MB cache)

    Memory - 4GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 at 800MHz

    Display - 14.0â?ť High Definition+ (900p) Bright LED Display with TrueLifeâ?˘

Video Card - Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD

Hard Drive - 320GB SATA Hard Drive (5400RPM)

    CD ROM/DVD ROM - 8X CD/DVD Burner (Dual Layer DVD+/-R Drive)

Sound - Soundblaster X-Fi Hi Def Audio - Software Enabled

    Wireless - Dell Wireless 1397 802.11g Half Mini-Card

Battery - 48 Whr Lithium Ion Battery (6 cell)

Total $850 (with tax and shipping)
    ___________________________________________________________________________
I know its definitely a few steps up from my current laptop

    Is the processor quality good?
    Are Dell Inspiron 14s good?

I know a lot of you have said that Dells are bad, but is that with specific brands of theirs or just all?
and about that bloatware Dell problem, I found a few programs that I could use to take off the bloatware if I do run into that problem
