Then after you finish, it looks like this.
(If I get accepted, I'll release the update)

another one? cool
And Mr Slipstream is correct. They watermark all the updates, so if you were to leak it and microsoft were to come across a copy of it (which they probably pay people to try and do), they would be able to tell it was you.
Leaking is not advised.

They take the console ID's of the people they give the update to on a white list.If you do this update, when you access LIVE, you give the servers your IP and MAC adress and Serial ID, kernal #, dash version among other stuff (ie, if you are on an older version, when you attempt to update, thats how it knows you need to update). It stores all this data on server. For the serial ID's that AREN'T on the whitelist, they become blacklisted. This blacklist's punishment is generally a console ban. There (generally) is a yearly console banning wave in or around novemeber-december so the kids get a new one for x-mas.

How is that even possible?
Of course this is legit. It's on microsoft's web site!
And to answer the question you double-posted, if you had read the first post correctly, you would have noticed "(If I get accepted, I'll release the update)", which both myself and Dr Slipstream replied that you can get banned for doing.

This update includes the Zune software and the Twitter and Facebook apps for the 360. There may be more updates than that but I am looking forward to the Zune App
Yay, maybe the zune software won't freeze my 360 like it freezes my Laptop (1.6ghz, OC'ed to 1.7 )

...until we can figure out where the watermarks are and remove them
And this is my 666th post... does that make me blasphamic until I make another post?
If system updates are LIVE files (I assume they are), the are signed to your console. So you could remove it, but you would never resign it lol..
