Hey. I know lots of people here have had Halo 3: ODST before it came out. Is it was possible to mod the ODST disc to view the Halo Reach beta?

I know it doesn't come out until Spring of 2010, but I was just wondering if you could . . . . "unlock" it (Is that the right word?) to just view it. Or is it a downloadable thing that they will release or something?

It would be tight just to see if it was just viewable. Take some pics and freak out everybody on Bungie.net. That will at least give us an idea as to what Reach is about.

I don't have a Dev kit so I wouldn't know anything about how to do it.

no cause the beta has to be made first and no cause the beta is not on the disk and no no no cause its just the way it is and not a lot of people here have ODST only a few so no >.>

The BETA is eons away, there shouldn't be any info on that disc about it.

What I think it is, is just a network based option that once enabled will allow you to download from those disks the demo, that will then link to that option under "extras" which is basically like it was with Crackdown and H3.

yup, when you viewed the option in crackdown before the beta, you were welcomed to an empty menu.

As I decided this game wasn't really worth the pre-order so i'm waiting until christmas.

reach beta is for all copies, Sgt. Johnson was the only pre-order exclusive.
