idk if this is the right section for this.. but you know how when you make a xbl gamertag you have 2 put in a msn acount email and password.. well my dad (which i havent seen for a year cause of the divorce) made the acount in his email adress. ive had the acount for 4 years and i really dont want 2 make a new 1. so i really need 2 change it to my email.. and i seriously have no idea where 2 do that. if somebody could tel me how. that would be a great help 2 me.. thanx

I'm not sure what your asking but if you want to change the email you go to your dashboard, go to your profile and then to account management. Then go to change Windows Live ID.

Oh. I thought you didn't know the e-mail address that was actually joined with the gamertag


And you've had it for 4 years, eh?

Well the 360 hasn't been out for 4 years, so you must have had xbox live with the origional xbox.

Most Windows Live ID changes must take place through passport.net (login with his email and password) then you can change most of that info.
