With the release of ODST and the "Recon switch" drawing ever nearer it appears that Recon will be accessible and will be quite easy to get.
However, that does not make Recon before everyone can get it impossible.

I have extracted some blocks of data from a "Recon account" most of which normal accounts do not even have.

If we find out what these do then we might able to give account recon.. at the moment this is very far fetched and etc.. but it might be possible..

No, PEC is in all profiles after the latest update, ph.dat is unrelated, and the 4D5307E6.gpd is the Halo 3 gpd, which actually is related.

who ever designed recon is an idiot i only like it in h3 films because noobs think your cool the the head look like some turtle and people just start sending u loads of friends request even if your highest skill 1 the shoulders look sick doe and the chest looks like a 8 pack the head wow they drew that without looking flaming scout armour over recon any day lol

Honestly, I don't give a shit about actually getting Recon. I want to mod it because it's a challenge. Halo 3 isn't really fun and wearing Recon isn't going to make it funner. I don't even really want to get it the legit way, I want to mod it.

But to the OP, ODST hasn't officially come out, I doubt the switch is activated.

you activate the switch yourself on bungie.net, which obviously isn't ready yet.
