    Im console banned... If I give it rrod and sent it to MS, will they send me a replacement?

    Also, will it acually work and not be banned?

    I tried it and it came back already banned on a new console.

    Go to walmart, buy a $200 console, swap insides, return the console with the banned crap inside and get your cash back.

    If they haven't smartened up yet, then yes you'll get a brand new one.

    Edit: Just swap the outside of the box, where the serial number, etc. is located.

    That's the same effect as switching the insides...

    Thanks, if it doesn't rrod itself soon I will go and buy a new one and swap the insides out :p

    Except you don't need several screw drivers. You can pull one side off, then put the old one on it.

    ****, same thing is with me. Never thought I'd miss halo 3 Matchmaking. Anybody want to explain to me how to swap exactly? Most simplest effective process is what I prefer.

    Haha all fixed, swapped my xbox with someone at school :)

    He can't get live so it don't affect him, only thing with his xbox is that the disk drive doesn't always open... But, meh I just fixed that xD. Just pretty much got a brand new working xbox lol.
