    possible no need of a live resigner?

    I'm not really inside modding and all that stuff but if you extract the live files from the mythic maps and convert them into con files cos they'll be small enough. And put them inside a folder of the map pack name ex: GFG389843892803498W29USAA9809 and put inside the con files would that work?

    It doesn't work because the xbox is expecting a LIVE file when it looks for the maps.

    Imagine you made a program that reads a file of a format that you made. You called the file this.myfile.

    then imagine someone replaced that file with a this.someotherfile.

    Would it work? No.


    The reason it works with themes and gamerpics is because you get themes and gamerpics as CONs and LIVEs. So the xbox looks for both (and possible PIRS as well).

    If they do, it's because CON rockband songs exist, therefore, the xbox will accept CON and LIVe rockband songs.

    Everything but arcade games are possible. You guys just haven't figured out anything but themes/gamerpics yet. ; )

    Can't resign live files, end of.
    And it would be more than arcade games, anything that runs code.
    LIVE piracy = impossible.
    Any good content is flagged to only work from LIVE.
